What is Red Dirt Rogue? It was born out of the love of music. Music that originates from Oklahoma, Texas, and the sort - Red Dirt music. Red Dirt music is often classified as country, though has no limits on style. It has been described as folk, country, southern rock, bluegrass, swing, blues... it's all of that, and more.

But Red Dirt Rogue is about more than just the music, it's also about the lifestyle Red Dirt music creates. For Red Dirt Rogue, it started in the 90's in a country bar in Manhattan, Kansas with bands like The Great Divide, Robert Earl Keen, Pat Green, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland and the Stragglers, Stoney LaRue and Wade Bowen.
